Once the summit is complete, participants have nine months to compete for the Y.E.S. Grand Scholarship by introducing NRA programs into their communities and creating a portfolio summarizing the experience. This year’s entries performed a variety of activities, such as hosting an 6th grade Hunter's Education Course, joining a Friends of NRA committee, and giving speeches at multiple community service organizations.
The following students were selected as Grand Scholarship winners from the 2015 Y.E.S. class’ entrants:
Trevar Fiscus - Juneau, AK
Delaney Yoder - Bremen, IN
Jacquelyn O'Brien - Fairfield, CT
Funding for Y.E.S. and the Grand Scholarship is provided by The NRA Foundation and Friends of NRA.
